Marlen I. Seagrave

legal Representative

Mrs. Marlen I. Seagrave, Non-Attorney Legal Representative, and founder of MMS found her passion in 1999 when she opened her owned business while fulfilling her career working as a Case Manager at a hospital setting. One of her roles as a Case Manager was meeting with the patient’s physicians and discussing the discharged planning to those who didn’t meet clinical criteria to be admitted as an in-patient rather than out-patient.

She then found the need of helping uninsured patients covering their hospital stayed retro back to their admission with State and Federal assistance, such as Medicaid and Medicare. Being passionate of helping those in need, she discovered that she could do more for the patients at the hospital, and that’s when she started representing clients with the Social Security Administration for disability as a charity basis.

She then partnered with the Ryan-White foundation where she represented H.I.V and Full-blown Aids patients for First Initial and Appeals applications.

It was not until 2000 when she got a job offered from a supervisor of the Social Security Administration to put her passion in perspective for the population. She rejected the offer while reaching out to other hospital and providing her knowledge by immediately putting it into practice. By the end of 2000, she was doing Hearings at the court level representing clients and obtaining favorable decisions for their disabilities.

She was also Honorary of the “League Against Cancer” for eight (8) years as an advocate for disability, until her youngest was born. Mrs. Seagrave was also on Radio Mambí 710 AM with Journalist Mrs. Marta Flores informing the population of the great benefits her country had to offered.

Until this day, next to her husband and her three kids, she still in love and passionate of helping her clients and assisting anyone that has been denied for disability with the Social Security Administration (SSA) and Department of Health (DDS) and continued helping the population with her knowledge and expertise.
